What is Embroidery?
Embroidery is decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. Express Trophies have embroidery machines. Embroidery is usually seen on caps, hats, coats, blankets, dress shirts, denim, dresses, stockings, and golf shirts. Embroidery is available with a wide variety of thread or yarn colour.
Costing
Typically the cost per 1,000 stitches can vary from as little as $7 depending on the size of the design, the number of colour changes and the number of garments to be embroidered. Usually as the number or size of the stitch count increases the cost per 1,000 stitches goes down.
For artwork and/or logo there will be a set up fee.

What is Screen Printing
A variety of stencil printing, using a screen made from fabric (silk or synthetic) stretched tightly over a frame. Each design uses a different screen. Screen Printing is used more in bulk orders of the same design, Usually on casual wear, sports wear and work wear.
Costing
Typically Screen Printing has a few set up costs involved eg. Screen Set up, Art Work Set up and film etc.

What is Direct to Garment?
Direct-to-garment printing (DTG) is printing on textiles using specialized aqueous ink jet technology. DTG printers typically have a platen designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head.
Costing
Direct to Garment printing doesn’t usually have a minimum order quantity as it doesn’t vary the cost of printing and set up. it will usually cost per the hour depending on your design.

What is Heat Transfer?
Heat Transfer is a material pressed into the garment by a heat press. The material can be a single colour or it can be layered to achieve your desired design.
Heat Transfers are great for small quantities with several colours.
Costing
Cost wise Heat Transfer is more affordable in smaller quantities where screen printing is more affordable in larger quantities.

What is Sublimation?
Sublimation is the best choice for team uniforms and custom sports apparel. Sublimation printing is the process of transferring dye to a fabric using heat. The image is printed on special transfer paper and placed on the fabric and heat is applied, allowed the ink to become part of the fabric.

Sublimation has a set up fee and art work cost. Sublimation is generally priced by the hour.

Digital Print
Digital Print is printed with a wide format printer using vinyl. It can print full colour stickers, posters, window stickers etc.
It can also print vinyl prints for apparel.

Digital prints requires set up fee and art work fees. It is usually priced by the hour and amount of colour.
